Jorge is a Chilean Creative Director with a degree in communications. He has a background of more than fifteen years in the industry of advertising, being since 2016 a VP Associate Creative Director at Area 23 in New York, decision he made due to his constant search of new challenges. In Chile, he worked leading creative teams at Y&R, BBDO and Grey.
Through the years, he has received many awards and recognitions in important festivals such as Cannes Lions, LIA Awards, One Show, New York Festivals, el Sol, el Ojo de Iberoamérica, Wave and Achap. He was rewarded with the Grand Effie in Effie Awards 2014 and the Grand Prix in Achap during the years 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016.

He strongly believe that the digital (marketing)??? Will be what integrates the other areas of communication and in the future all advertising formats will have a strong digital component.
In addition to his daily research on new trends, formats and possibilities, his training has always focused on deepening advertising aspects with a global vision of business: he has an International MBA in NY, a master in Marketing and Communication in Madrid, and a career in Advertising and Public Relations. His passion for sports, has encouraged him to graduate with an MBA in Sports Management.

Until recently, he held the position of Managing Director at one of France’s leading multinational advertising agencies, Publicis, in Colombia. With more than 15 years of experience, he has managed to occupy an important place in the Colombian advertising market, with important clients in its trajectory, such as Nestlé, Renault, Banco Falabella, Mambo, Parmalat, various political campaigns, Harinera del Valle and Colombina, among many others. Jacobo has been the winner of numerous national and international advertising awards, the most important of them being Agency of the year 2015 in Colombia and Gold and Grand Prix in the most relevant festivals in the world. He coordinates his work as a publicist with a prolific career as a musician with his Sultana project, and occasionally lectures at universities or marketing and advertising conferences.
