He graduated from Vega, AD School in South Africa and has since worked for some of the world’s top networks and agencies in South Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
He is currently the Innovation Creative Director of OgilvyOne Dubai and has been instrumental in making Memac Ogilvy the most awarded agency in the Middle East.
Together with his incredibly talented team, he strives to create ideas that transcend advertising. This has resulted in some highly successful campaigns, including Rescue Radio, Lifebuoy – Handle on Hygiene, Back Off Radio, Nestle’s, behavioural changing mobile app – TummyFish and the world changing Potatoes On Mars Project with the International Potato Center and NASA.
He’s won more than 250 international and regional awards, including Grands Prix at London International, New York Festival and Dubai Lynx, as well as metal of every colour from One Show, Clio, Cannes Lions, D&AD, Effies and the highly acclaimed, 4A’s Jay Chiat Awards for Strategic Excellence.

Throughout his career he’s been working with brands like IKEA, Toyota, Volkswagen, Oscar Mayer, Spotify, Movistar and Red Bull and he had won international awards in festivals like FIAP, Lowie Awards, IAB Inspirational and Ojo de Iberoamérica. Now, he is leading a global creative team in Latam & Europe putting the focus in innovation development, social media and digital creativity. Also he is in charge of Godsavethebrief one of the most important advertising websites in Spain for more than ten years.

A native from Cuernavaca, Mexico, Aldo has brought to Richards/Lerma his passion for great ideas and innovative solutions. In 2004, he was inducted into the American Advertising Federation’s Hall of Achievement® – the prestigious industry award that recognizes advertising leaders age 40 and under – making him the first Mexican to receive the accolade. In 2010, he was honored with the ADCOLOR Industry Coalition’s Legend Award, and he has been named Creative Director of the Year three times by Argentina-based LatinSpots magazine.
A founding member and former president of Círculo Creativo in the U.S., Aldo has also served as Chairman of the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies (AHAA).
His work has been recognized in the top award shows internationally.
Among the most notable, he’s the first Mexican to win a Cannes Lion and the Grand Award at the New York Festivals.
George Eid is the founder of AREA 17, a digital product agency with studios in Paris and New York. In 2003, he established the agency in New York, then in 2006, opened the studio in Paris. In 2008, he started an incubator within the agency, launching web and mobile products such as Slash, Krrb and Subfolio. George began designing and coding websites in 1994 and for much of his career, he worked as a creative director at digital agencies. With degrees in art and theatre, he is a strong believer in the power of the ensemble.
