Juan is one of the most awarded Latino creatives in the U.S. advertising industry. The campaigns he has created have been recognized at national and international award shows such as Cannes, Clio, One Show and Effie’s just to name a few. In addition, the Smithsonian Museum selected a campaign he developed 15 years ago to be part of a special advertising permanent collection.
He honed his creative skills working at several renowned advertising agencies such as Casanova Pendrill, Grupo Gallegos and Deutsch LA.
Juan is the Founder & Creative Director of o1-agency, an independent agency that specializes in social content. The agency was considered by Ad age as a new vanguard of Hispanic-American agencies.

Founder & Marketing Manager
Born in Portugal, graduated in Cultural and Communications Sciences, Ricardo worked as a journalist in radio stations and newspapers. He then began his creative career working for several years in agencies like Lusocom and Alderson being involved in projects across multiple industries like health, FMCG, Telecom, IT and manufacturing.
In 2013, he found the Portuguese agency DBB and two years later he created Digital Terroirs: a marketing and communications agency that works exclusively with the wine and spirits industry. Currently, Digital Terroirs is the leading agency in Portugal working with wine brands and one of the most respected worldwide by also developing projects in Spain and China.
His entrepreneur spirit led Ricardo to win the Luso Foundation/Heineken Group “Annual Entrepreneurship Award” in 2015. He loves to develop projects blending creativity and technology as well as always seeking new approaches for engaging brands and consumers.
