He owns more than 1.300 awards from national and international festivals like Cannes, One Show, Clio, London, D&AD, New York Festival, Ojo de Iberoamérica and has been considered as one of the best creatives of the region for three in a row according to Adlatina and Latin Spots.
His agency is one of the most awarded office in the network of Ogilvy & Mather and also it was known as the best agency in Iberoamérica during Festival El Sol in Spain. In Colombia, Ogilvy is the most awarded in One Show and Clio festivals history and the only agency that has been awarded for six years in a row in Cannes.
With sixteen years in advertising he has been asociate creative director of important agencies like Ogilvy Guatemala and McCann.
His work has been recognized several times in local and international festivals such as El Ojo de Iberoamérica, FIAP, New York Festivals, Caribe Awards, Festival de Antigua, El Sol de San Sebastián, Effie Awards and WINA in Buenos Aires. Many of his creative pieces have been published in important books and magazines such as the edition of Taschen New York Advertising Now, Luerzers Archive, Cultura Creativa Magazine in Argentina and Ogilvy Red Hot.
Selma holds a degree in journalism with a major in advertising. She has worked on Rede Globo TV for 16 years, reaching the commercial directorate position.
In the year of 1.999 she studied in Bournemouth and then went to London.
In 2.000 she returned to Brazil and co-founded with a partner Flagra Comunicação, an independent agency of full service.
