Ana de Castro is the Chief Communications Officer at Havas Group in Spain, one of the world largest global communications Group and ranked second group in the Spanish market.
She is a well-respected thought-leader and speaker on Communications & Public Relations. With more than 22 years of experience in this field, she has developed strategies for key local and global clients such as Decathlon, Hyundai, LVMH, Alain Afflelou, Danone, Peugeot, Barceló Viajes, BOSCH, among others.
After many years of experience in the Communications Sector, she launched Havas PR Spain (network currently operating under the name Red Havas) and worked as General Manager of the agency from 2012 to 2020. Under her leadership, Havas PR Spain boomed working with clients such as KFC, Huawei, Ouigo, Cervezas Alhambra, Sonae Sierra, Alain Afflelou, Grefusa, Vueling, Nivea, Hipercor, Unilever, Fundación Caixa, SFAM, Aceites de Oliva de España and JDC. Thanks to her leadership, Havas PR Spain is one the most desirable and wanted to work with for brans and employees.
Ana de Castro was PR Jury member at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity (2015), Cristal Festival (2018) and President PR Jury at El Ojo de Iberoamérica (2019).
In 2015 she was recognised as 'Woman to follow', an award given by the most relevant Spanish advertising magazine in the sector (Anuncios).
She is a professional as well as a socially committed person who supports causes and projects related to the environment, society as well as equality and integration of people at Havas Group. She is currently working on a relevant project for the fight against cancer. She also mentors university students.
