Jacque Matthee is a South African brand building, advertising, design, and marketing specialist. He is the Executive Creative Director of Avatar Agency – The largest 100% black owned agency group in South Africa. Jacque has +-23 years industry experience ranging from ATL, Digital, Branding and Design, Web Design, Through-the-line and Retail Advertising, Activation and Experiential. He has worked in small agencies as well as the largest of them all Ogilvy, Wunderman, and Y&R. He’s also owned his own Branding and Design Agency, and more recently a Metaverse, Technology, Tokenisation, and NFT Consultancy Firm. Campaigns Jacque has lead as a creative leader have translated into shortlists and metal at Cannes, the Midas Awards, and in local awards The Loeries Africa & Middle East, as well as the New Generation Digital Awards. Jacque’s work and collaborative projects have also been extensively published globally over the last decade.
