Jay Soo
Jay Soo is the founder and owner of Moving Bits, an independent creative agency headquartered in Singapore.
In May 2023, the agency celebrated its Silver jubilee and is currently ranked #17 in Campaign Brief Asia’s annual Singapore’s Hottest Agencies chart.
Jay graduated with Honors in Studio Guitar from the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, California. After that, he worked as a music producer, arranger, and composer for television commercials.
In a strange twist of fate (read “jobless musician”), he started directing commercials. It was while directing commercials that he found his true vocation.
A calling that has won him a CINE Special Jury Award, a nomination for a Cannes Lion, a New York Festivals Best Direction nomination, and a Gold award at the US International Film & Video Festival, amongst others.
In 2023, he won the Agency Leader of the Year award from Marketing magazine. The magazine holds an annual competition for this award that is judged by top marketing professionals.
