She was the President of the Mobile category at the Cannes Lions Festival of creativity and president at D&AD in the new media and innovation category in 2018 and president of Direct 2020, among many other creative festivals. Joanna is part of the D&AD advisory Board in London and president of Clube de Criação in Brazil.
Together with his team he developed projects such as the nivea solar charger, the Nivea protective bracelet, the Nivea Doll, the Speaking Exchange for CNA, the Corruption Converter for O Estadao, the trending Botics for the Congresso em Foco website. Joanna began her professional advertising career as a copywriter trainee at Ogilvy (1996), and worked as a copywriter at DPZ , W/Brasil, Africa Advertising, FCB The product of two academic powerhouses, Joanna graduated with an Arts degree from Brasilia University (UnB), and earned her postgraduate degree in Advertising & Marketing from ESPM, one of Brazil’s first institutes of higher learning, known for academic excellence in communication and marketing.
