Leandro Bechara
I’m a Brazilian art director from Rio de Janeiro, where I graduated and started my career. In the last fifteen years, I developed projects for Coca Cola, AB InBev, Ford, Chevrolet, Santander, L’Oréal, UFC and Essilor.
Most of my experience was developed in multinational group agencies (especially J. Walter Thompson at WPP and Publicis at Publicis Groupe) and several independent agencies. In 2020 I was invited to structure the in-house creative department at Refit where I’m currently a Senior Executive Designer.
I believe in conceptual thinking, in polished visuals, in making ideas happen and fortunately I’ve been honored in various international awards such as Cannes Lions, Cannes Lions Health, One Show, Clio Awards, Webby Awards, El Ojo de Iberoamérica and Wave Festival. My work has also been recognized in prestigious publications such as Forbes, The Independent, The Huffington Post, Rede Globo, Adweek, Ad Age and Contagious Magazine.
In the last three years, I’ve had the privilege to contribute as a Jury Member for The New York Festivals, Ad Stars, Mobius Awards, Lisbon Awards, Ad Forum PHNX and now Wina Awards. You can check out my work at leandrobechara.com
