Nicolás López


Advertising graduate from the University of the Pacific. He began his professional career at JWT in 1999, primarily working for Nestlé, Unilever, Heineken, Ford, among others. In 2003, he joined Ogilvy & Mather, and after two years, he was appointed Creative Director alongside his partner Sebastián Alvarado, in charge of all agency brands as well as international projects and pitches for major accounts such as Coca Cola, Fanta, Coors Light, Hellmann's, Kraft, and Dove. In March 2009, he became the Creative Director at Puerto agency. In 2014, he co-founded his own agency "Loca Santiago" with Alvarado and Andrés Chateau. Today, Loca is a well-established agency that manages accounts for Wom, Itaú, Escudo beer, Limón Soda, Gato wine, Omo, Quix, BHP, Marco Polo, Tea Club, primarily. Throughout his career, he has been awarded at the most important international advertising festivals, including 7 Lions, as well as the first Grand Prix for Latin America at the Cannes Lions festival. He has received over 100 awards at FIAP, ACHAP, Gunn Report, Clio, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, the San Sebastián Sun, New York Festival, The London International Advertising Award, and the Wave Festival. He has also been highlighted multiple times at the EFFIE Awards. He has served on the board of the Creative Circle of Chile and has been a jury member at ACHAP, FIAP, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Cannes Lions Young Creative, US Hispanic Creative Circle, Desachate Uruguay, and also served as a content evaluator for the National Television Council during 2010.
