Pablo Castillo


Pablo Castillo is currently the Chief Creative Officer of House Dentsu Costa Rica (2021-2023). He’s the former General Creative Director of both 4am Saatchi & Saatchi, and Interaction. Under his creative lead, Interaction became the second most effective independent agency of the world according to Effie Index, and also was named the 2nd most creative agency of the world at WINA 2019. He began his career in 2008 as a copywriter at J. Walter Thompson Costa Rica. After working for 8 years in this agency, he jumped to the title of Creative Supervisor at Ogilvy Costa Rica. Later in 2016, Pablo achieved the title of Creative Director at Havas Tribu. During his career he has worked for some of the biggest brands in the Central American region such as: AMEX, Firestone, Chevrolet, Burger King, Toyota, Papa John’s, Carl’s Jr., Mondelez, Hyundai, Bayer, HSBC, Coca Cola and Claro. His work has been nominated and awarded more than 320 times in festivals such as: Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, El Ojo de Iberoamerica, Effie Awards Latam, FIAP, The Cup Awards, El Sol, Wave, New York Festivals, Ad Stars, Luum Awards, Festival Antigua, WINA, Festival Caribe and Festival Volcán. Pablo has been a jury in some of the most important festivals of the industry such as: New York Festivals, Ojo de Iberoamerica, WINA, Ad Stars, Echo Awards and Festival Antigua. Castillo won the local Young Lions competition in the Cyber Category back in 2014, and represented Costa Rica at the Young Lions International competition at Cannes,France. He has also been an advertising professor at Animal Ad School for the past 7 years.
