Siya Jiyana
With well over a decade as a creative, Siya Jiya is currently the Associate Creative Director at Wunderman Thompson South Africa on one of the agency’s biggest accounts, The Coca-Cola Company. His journey into the creative industry didn’t follow a straight line but started unconventionally by him letting go of the path to be a Scientist studying at Rhodes University to freelance as a designer, studying at AAA School of Advertising and making a mark on some of the most loved brands in South Africa, Africa and the globe.
He has worked at agencies such as Promise, HKLM, PR Worx, Grey and Wunderman Thompson, to list but a few. His passion for the industry has led him to being no stranger to big brands such as Rand Merchant Bank, First National Bank, AfriSam, Ab InBev, PPS Insurance, BestMed Medical Aid, Nedbank, GLO Nigeria & Ghana, University of Johannesburg, DStv, SuperSport, Distell, Coca-Cola, Fanta, Schweppes and many more. His method of solutions-driven creativity has led to recognition on global prestigious awards platforms over the years.
Siya strongly believes in the discovery of self as the best way to live and that creatives are capable of producing work with excellence as an inspiration to others.
