Valentin Suciu
Valentin started in advertising 27 years ago, after a degree in journalism and some awarded work in documentary film. He co-founded Jazz in 2012, the first independent agency in Romania to win gold in Cannes. Then in 2021 he went on to co-found Jam Session, the most awarded independent Romanian agency today. He led teams that won at Cresta, Epica, D@AD, Cannes, New York festival, Effie and Euro Effie. He advocates for brand building and pushes clients to really see the people and their culture, not only customers and performance. He has also background as commercial director and has directed some of the projects that won major international recognition.
In 2021, Jam Session Agency was Agency of the Year at Internetics Romania. In 2022, Jam Session Agency was ranked no. 1 in Euro Effie index for independent agencies. Jam was also the only Romanian agency shortlisted 3 times in New York Festivals and one of the 2 Romanian agencies shortlisted in Cannes, in 2022. And in 2023 Jam was awarded several Euro Effie awards.
