Gary has over 20 years of agency experience as an art-based creative. He has worked on some of the biggest local and global brands, ranging from retail, automotive, electronics, food and beverage, beauty, financial, communications, pharmaceuticals, and several advocacies. Presently at Dentsu Creative, he helped the agency win Gold as the Philippines’ 2021 Campaign Digital Agency of the Year, and Silver as 2021 Campaign Agency of the Year. He also had meaningful contributions in winning businesses and awards during his time at BBDO Guerrero and Publicis Manila.Gary’s work has collected creative and effectiveness metals at Cannes, D&AD, The One Show, Clio, The London International, New York Festivals, AWARD, Spikes, Adfest, AME, Adstars, Tambuli, and The Kidlat Awards. He has won across all disciplines including TV, Print, Outdoor, Digital, Mobile, Media, Direct, and Design.His work was once included as one of the top 50 print ads in the world by the Gunn Report. He also has been named the Philippines’ No.1 Art Director and Creative Director by Adobo Magazine.Gary has served as jury on several award shows including The New York Festivals, Adobo Design Awards, Tinta Awards, PH Agency of the Year Awards, and The Kidlat Awards.Outside of work, Gary is an obsessive vinyl collector and a small-time DJ who likes making people dance at agency parties.
