Karel Picha
Karel Picha is an award-winning creative director with over a decade of experience working in the advertising industry. He graduated with a degree in Visual Communication from the Birmingham Institute of Arts and Design in Birmingham, UK. After graduation, he worked at the UK ad agency Golley Slater where he learned about advertising through hands-on experience.
After moving to Taiwan, he took a position at BBDO as an Art Director where he lead a team for BenQ worldwide account. He also worked on accounts like M&M's, Pepsi, and Kymco.
Later on, he moved to an independent creative studio BE LUCKY as Creative Director.
He created successful viral social media campaigns for ASUS, Tesla and ViewSonic. His career highlights include an award-winning short commercial film for Taiwan's Penghu Islands and developing a pilot dark-grocer store for UBET EATS Taiwan.
In his free time, he loves to direct short films and music videos. His passion for documentary photography led him to regular collaboration with world news agencies like NurPhoto and Associated Press.
