Born and raised in Miami, Alex Katz graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor’s degree in Advertising, before moving to Spain to continue his education at Miami Ad School Madrid, where he teamed up with Spanish creative Javi Iñiguez de Onzoño. After working at several renowned agencies like Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Shackleton, La Despensa and Cheil, in 2016 the two decided to branch off and start their own independent agency, Officer & Gentleman. Since then, they’ve created award winning work for brands like Pornhub, Nike, Booking.com and Netflix, and have been recognised at some of the world’s most prestigious advertising festivals, including Cannes, The One Show, The Clio Awards and New York Festivals and WINA.
