Dr Bernie Wong is the Founder of Social Stand Limited, specialising in digital marketing strategies that integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and brand storytelling. He helps organisations build impactful and sustainable communication strategies in the digital age.

He has collaborated with Fortune 500 and leading global brands, including Starbucks, Marks & Spencer, GAP, Adidas, and Disney. By combining data-driven insights with creative strategy, he has successfully enhanced brand influence and deepened audience engagement, earning recognition as a pioneer in storytelling-driven marketing.

Dr Wong has extensive experience in training and public speaking, having delivered over 500 seminars and workshops across Asia for corporations, NGOs, and government organisations. Known for his engaging and accessible style, he translates complex concepts in marketing and AI into practical, actionable strategies that resonate with both industry professionals and academic audiences.

Beyond consulting and training, he is active in both media and academia as a columnist, radio and TV host, and university lecturer. He is committed to advancing the adoption of digital marketing and AI in business and education.

Prior to founding Social Stand, Dr Wong held senior roles at Yahoo! as Head of International Brand Digital Advertising and at WPP as Digital Strategy Lead. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Marketing from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Master of Science in New Media from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
