Miguel is a Marketing and Advertising professional with a unique career in 4 different countries including Mexico and US Hispanic Market. Born and raised in Peru, he attended the University of Lima where he studied Communications. He began his career as a copywriter at Saatchi& Saatchi. From there he went onto work at some of the most renowned agencies such as McCann Erickson and Ogilvy. He was the very first creative to lead a McCann Erickson branch in Bolivia. He opened the office, and was able to obtain the top ranking in the local market after only 2 years under his leadership. He was recruited for a top position at a well known U.S. Hispanic agency in Los Angeles California. He has had the opportunity to work for a wide range of various clients in many categories such as: Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Kia Motors, Universal Studios, Toyota, Farmer John, Del Real Foods, Epson, HP, Motorola, Beers, Banks and Holiday Inn to name just a few.
From Copywriter to CEO his work has been recognized at the most prestigious Advertising festivals in the Advertising industry such as: Efiies, London Festivals, New York Festivals, Telly Awards, Beldings, Addy Awards, Fiap, El Ojo de Iberoamerica, receiving more than 200 creative awards. For his recognition, Miguel has been asked to judge many creative festivals. He is also a member of the Silver Council at the Telly Awards.
Miguel founded Olistico in 2007 in Los Angeles California and has been in charge of the strategic and creative work for Epson for 8 different countries in Latin America, One Legacy, Adriana’s Insurance, Kool Smiles and Cazadores Tequila. Miguel and his wife Andrea, they both became Lupus Ambassadors for Glaxo and HGS US program.
Then in 2015 Miguel founded Olistico in Peru, an integrated agency with digital soul. Since then Olistico has been recognized as top independent agency in Peru receiving more than 100 creative awards in a short period of time. Olistico also belong to Constellation Network, the largest independent agencies network in the region.
